Motorcycle insurance rates at the Allen & amp; Allen motorcycle dealership are higher than average, according to the company.
A spokesperson told The Associated Press the company has not received any new claims for the last three years.
There are a variety of reasons for this spike, the spokesman said.
The company received a new claim in 2015 because of a collision with a motorcycle during a routine test.
An employee was injured and the vehicle was totaled.
On April 28, a woman riding her bicycle was struck by a vehicle on Route 6 near Easton, which killed her and seriously injured the driver.
Insurance companies are looking into what went wrong, the spokesperson said.
The woman’s death has led to several inquiries.
Insurance regulators across the country have asked the Department of Justice to look into what happened.
In November, the company hired the attorney general’s office to look at the incident.
A company spokesperson did not respond to requests for comment.
