John Adams, the legendary owner of the Kansas City Chiefs, is back in the hospital after he was hit in the head by a baseball.
The injury was not serious and the 24-year-old former NFL star is expected to be OK, the Kansas Department of Public Safety said.
Adams suffered a head injury Friday during a game against the Houston Texans, but the injury was treated as a concussion and not a head trauma, the department said.
Adams is the third owner of a major professional sports franchise to be hospitalized after a concussion.
The first was Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert.
Gilbert was released from the hospital Saturday and was back in a golf cart by Sunday morning.
The NFL said Monday it has not made any decisions on the fate of Adams.
